A very personal story
Often, a client will come with a memory, or a longing to bring back into their wardrobe some accessory or footwear that once held a lot of meaning for them. Clients aren’t always aware of what’s possible, so our advisors are on hand to present the wealth of designs in our archives. Certain stores have “Heritage” displays, and the Manifattura Berluti offers a digital catalogue to help clients visualize the design they want and picture themselves bringing this icon back to life.
Reinventing without compromising
"Re-edition" isn’t only about adhering faithfully to a past design. We're happy to remake leather bags, accessories and footwear – exclusively by special request – and the order will be completed within three to four months. This timeframe is part of the appeal; that’s how long it takes for a piece that had fallen out of production to be brought back to life because a client has their heart set on it.
“Re-edition” also means putting a fresh spin on an archive design, whether an Olga Berluti original or one from Alessandro Sartori’s collections. Options include changing the sole, using a sturdier construction such as Norwegian stitching, or playing with different styles of penny bar on the Andy loafer. Every detail, thoughtfully chosen, transforms the character of a piece without compromising the spirit of the original.
