Conceived in the late 1940s by Léon Grimbert, founder of Arnys, the Forestière drew inspiration from the jackets worn by forest rangers. With its straight cut and generous proportions, it introduced a freer approach to elegance that appealed to the artists and intellectuals of the Left Bank.
Redesigned in the 1980s by his son Jean Grimbert, the Forestière became part of the Berluti universe in 2012, where its silhouette was further refined. Since Winter 2025, it has taken its place at the heart of the Maison’s wardrobe, evolving from season to season through new materials and interpretations.
