A three-step ritual to nourish, protect and enhance your Venezia or full-grain leather shoes:
Cleaning
Remove dirt using a soft cloth for delicate leather, or a soft shoe brush for grained leather, paying particular attention to the flex creases at the instep. Use a welt brush to thoroughly brush the outsoles.
Polishing
Insert shoe trees to maintain the shape of the shoes. Choose a wax that’s slightly lighter than the shoe's original shade, apply it in circular motions with a cotton cloth, leave to dry, and then use a buffing glove to bring out an elegant gleam.
Mirror Shine
For a deep, glossy shine, apply a thin layer of wax mixed with a few drops of water and gently rub it in using circular motions. Focus your attention on the toes and heels to highlight and reinforce these areas.
Shadow sneakers
Although Shadows are designed for everyday wear, they’ll stay sharp-looking and comfortable for much longer with a consistent ritual of care. Regular cleaning will keep the materials soft and supple, ensuring your Shadows don’t lose their wow factor.
Cleaning the uppers: Gently brush with a soft cloth or shoe brush to remove dust and dirt from the textile without snagging it.
Cleaning the outsoles: Dilute some mild liquid soap in lukewarm water and wipe around the outsoles using a soft cloth. This simple step protects the coating of the soles and keeps your sneakers looking box-fresh.
Stubborn stains: If you get any kind of persistent stain on your shoes, just bring them to our atelier where our experts will make them look as good as new.
