On 11 January 2026,

the 83rd Annual Golden Globes returned to the glittering surroundings of the Beverly Hilton, hosted by Nikki Glaser. This historic gala event rewards excellence in American film and TV through its most outstanding triumphs.

The Golden Globes have epitomized a glamorous, free-wheeling and irreverent vision of Hollywood ever since their inception in 1944. Held ahead of the Oscars in the calendar, the ceremony not only sets the tone for the season and signals early favourites, but also serves as a valuable style barometer.

This year saw a return to immaculate classicism, with sharp, flawless tailoring and deep, rich colours. Three stars stepped out on the Golden Globes red carpet in Berluti’s signature style of remarkable elegance, their clothes and footwear in perfect harmony.

Orlando Bloom – Actor

Orlando Bloom – reinventing elegance in Forest green

Actor Orlando Bloom was in attendance, taking the stage alongside Minnie Driver to co-present the Best Non-English Language Motion Picture Award. Eschewing the traditional black tuxedo, he opted instead for a subtle Forest green, teaming his shawl-collared wool tux jacket with a bow tie and white cotton shirt.

For footwear he chose black patent leather Alessandro Démesure shoes, a variation on Torello Berluti’s iconic Alessandro design. Sculpted from a single piece of leather and recognizable by its slightly square toe and signature sole, this shoe embodies the purity of line and understated refinement Berluti is renowned for.

Mohammed Al Turki – midnight blue as manifesto

Saudi director and producer Mohammed Al Turki wore a midnight blue shawl-collared tuxedo with matching tie over a white cotton shirt. His shoes were leather Mont-Thabor oxfords, named after the historic lines of the first workshop Berluti opened on Paris’s Rue Mont-Thabor in the late 1920s. Their smoky black patina ‘Atlantide’ with its nuanced reflections showcases the Maison’s renowned chromatic expertise, which its colourists are constantly reinventing.”

Nick Jonas – Actor

Nick Jonas – bold, sharp chic with shadow stripes

Musician Nick Jonas chose an understated interpretation of the black tuxedo, sporting a double-breasted version with shadow stripes and peak lapels, teamed with a white shirt and bow tie. Black patent leather Alessandro Démesure shoes completed his ensemble, for a look of consummate balance.

This 83rd Golden Globes ceremony marked the opening act of the American awards season. Movie and music industry tributes continue in February with a series of high-profile events, culminating in March with the season’s crowning moment, the Oscars. Each of these occasions offers a glimpse of how masculine elegance is being reimagined – and perhaps an opportunity to see some Berluti red carpet looks.
