We believe that protecting a craft means not only passing it on, but also showcasing it to keep the tradition alive. That's why Berluti is so open to the world.

Every year, Métiers d'Excellence brings opportunities to budding talents across France and Italy. The You & Me tour promotes the LVMH Group’s 280 professions of exceptional savoir-faire with the aim of inspiring new cohorts, from Paris to Rome. Students of all ages – as well as professionals seeking to retrain – come to meet artisans, receive career guidance, try their hand at the crafts, and perhaps even discover a new vocation.
To make the experience even more immersive, the Maison is involved in running the Malle Souliers. This full-scale touring workshop presents shoemaking tools, lasts, uppers, and patinas alongside videos and archival materials to bring alive the worlds of bespoke and off-the-shelf footwear.
The Excellent! programme introduces middle-school students to new horizons that traditional careers guidance might not cover. By watching skilled practitioners at work, they gain insight into vocations they might not have considered, such as leatherworker, couturier, jewellery-maker or set designer.
And every two years, Les Journées Particulières open days attract more than 200,000 visitors to Berluti’s workshops, where they're treated to a rare glimpse into the artisanal process.
