Berluti is pleased to announce the opening of a new boutique in Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store as the latest space to showcase the Maison's collections and "remarkable elegance." (Location: 1-28-1 Minami-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store Main Building 4th Floor)
Since the opening of the first boutique in 1999, Japan has always been very important to Berluti. The Maison shares some values in common – finesse and precision, sophistication and daintiness. Now the Maison introduces its 17th boutique in Japan. The façade is adorned with handmade ceramic tiles in the shape of shoes, embodying the core values of the Maison, which started as a boot maker. Each tile has a slightly different color, expressing the uniqueness of Berluti's dying technique, Patina.
When you step inside the store, the first thing you see is a wall displaying Berluti's star products and a “patina bar” made of forest green marble. Here, we will polish your precious shoes and bags. There are two shoe fitting corners with square leather panels called "shoe rings" at Berluti, where the Maison’s unique shoe sales ritual is conducted. You can relax and try on the full lineup of shoes for different occasions, including formal, informal, and leisure. In addition, the undulating walls made of American walnut wood bring a warm and relaxing atmosphere to the entire boutique.
The ceiling decoration is also inspired by shoe lasts, creating a sense of openness throughout the store. As you pass through the patinated central ceiling and proceed to the back, you will find a second shoe ring in a more intimate space, where you can relax and view the apparel collection.
The new Berluti boutique, which has a full lineup of shoes, leather goods, and clothing in a spacious 93m2 space, will open on the 4th floor of Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
