Style and inspirations

"The distance between the master shoemaker and the tailor is infinitisimal," Berluti's Artistic Director Alessandro Sartori likes to say. "We are from the same world, the world of craftsmanship, and we have the same dream: to create the exceptional, to achieve perfection and style with the highest respect for the client."

In fully bespoke Grande Mesure, as in custom-made shoes, there is a style. A signature. From the more classic for habitués of Arnys to the most unexpected, the Berluti suit is unlike any other. But because sometimes freedom of choice can make one's head spin, Alessandro Sartori has created a Grande Mesure collection of items characterized by a tailored cut, structured shoulders and a light hand.

Several thousand prestigious fabrics are available for clients to choose. Among this vast selection, there is one that particularly stands out for its history and appeal. Inspired by more than 350 years of excellence, Grand Cru 1663, made by the Italian wool producers Barbaris Canonico, is the finest fabric in the world, with a luminosity, fall and hand that is unique. It was developed exclusively for Berluti Grande Mesure and is available in a variety of colors.

All these distinctive features contribute to a unique style specific to Berluti, which applies to suits, of course, but also to shirts, jackets, and the full range of the Berluti offer. Combining tradition and boldness, the Berluti style is dedicated to giving clients an equally distinctive style.
