The Forestière was created more than half a century ago by the reputable tailor Arnys. Today reinterpreted by Berluti, the Forestière jacket continues to reinvent itself—in wool gabardine, double-faced cashmere, or suede calfskin, in the form of a blazer, jacket, or coat. In October, Berluti partnered with L'Etiquette magazine to celebrate the legendary Forestière at the Simone and Cino del Duca Foundation. Under the gilded moldings of the venue, Marc Beaugé, editor-in-chief of the magazine, gathered a panel of enthusiasts and experts in men's elegance: Jean Grimbert, living memory of Arnys, Clément Ducol, Oscar-winning composer and friend of the House, stylist Gauthier Borsarello, and Brice Mars, stylist at Berluti. Together, they revived the history of a piece that has become legendary: the Forestière.
