Making a Positive Impact

Everything the Maison does is guided by the values of excellence, respect, and responsibility – from ensuring diversity and wellbeing in the workplace through to our wider societal engagements.

At Berluti we know that diversity enriches us, so we’re committed to fostering an environment where everyone can express themselves freely, have their voice heard, and flourish in their individuality.

In 2023 we signed up to the LGBTQIA+ Commitment Charter put forward by L’Autre Cercle, a non-profit organization that supports workplace diversity and inclusion.

The Maison followed this up in 2024 by participating in their annual survey, marking another milestone in tracking and consolidating our commitments.

Our workplace culture is grounded in constructive exchange and mutual respect, thanks in part to two Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): ALL Pride, which champions the LGBTQIA+ community, and EllesLVMH, which focuses on advancing gender equality.

We’re very nearly there on gender parity, with close to 50% female staff and senior management, and our gender equality index was 95/100 in 2024.

What’s more, all Berluti’s HR and operational hiring managers are trained in the principles of non-discriminatory recruitment, ensuring a hiring process based on skills, diversity and equal opportunities.

LVMH is also committed to recruiting and retaining people living with disability at its sites worldwide. Across all regions, the Group has set a 2025 goal of having 2% of its workforce made up of people with disabilities, underscoring a collective commitment to real and lasting inclusion.

Staff wellbeing is central to our values, and we make it a high priority within the Maison.

In line with LVMH’s Health and Safety Charter, Berluti implements appropriate measures across all its workplaces (offices, stores and workshops) to ensure staff are operating in a safe, respectful and pleasant environment.

In France, the Quality of Life at Work Charter backs this up with concrete initiatives to support workers who are parents or caregivers, or who work remotely.

The Suggestion Box installed at the Berluti manufacture in 2021 illustrates our willingness to listen and work collaboratively. It moved online in 2023 and continues to generate new ideas to improve working practices. More than 10 employees were rewarded in 2024 for their suggestions relating to environmental considerations, safety and workplace wellbeing.

An annual Volunteering Day brings teams together in support of local charities such as Restos du Cœur and Printemps des Terres, which runs reforestation and agroecology projects in France.

Berluti staffers support initiatives across the world including Shoes For A Cure in the United States and Odyssea in France, demonstrating solidarity across all continents.
