Icons of Berluti's remarkable style

This is far more than a series of outstanding objects – together, these pieces make up an ideal male wardrobe, designed around staples you'll be wearing for a lifetime.

The Andy loafer, the Fast Track sneaker, the Forestière jacket, the Deux Jours bag, and the Un Jour zipped jacket each embody a different facet of the remarkable elegance that characterizes Berluti. These enduring icons defy shifting trends to remain forever on point.

Just as a film scene is born from the convergence of emotion and cinematic technique, each Berluti design derives its appeal from a subtle synthesis of scientific knowledge of the foot, mastery of materials, and artisanal sensibility. This alchemy gives rise to enduring icons – pieces that epitomize confident style and remarkable elegance.

L'Alessandro

The Alessandro, pure elegance

This iconic Oxford lace-up was created by Torello Berluti and named after his father, Alessandro. Crafted from a single piece of leather, it has no visible seams, and laces up with three eyelets on each side for a perfect fit. It’s a favourite among top-tier businessmen, exemplifying the perfect blend of innovation, comfort, and elegance that’s at the very heart of the Maison’s DNA. Its sleek upper lends itself to any number of treatments, from smooth Venezia leather to a full grain, and from the slender profile of Blake stitching to a robust Norwegian construction. Versatile enough to wear with a formal suit or a casual jeans–knit top–and–jacket combo, the Alessandro is an enduring classic of uncompromising elegance.

Andy

The Andy, a legend among loafers

The Andy loafer was designed in the 1960s and remains hugely popular. Its high-set penny bar provides a secure fit, while the slender toe and square-cornered stitching on the upper lends it remarkable distinction. Bespoke-only until the 1990s, then available off the shelf, the Andy loafer made a strong impact in an era that was yearning for change and looked up to audacious designers like Pierre Cardin. The Andy has been reinvented down the decades, with its upper lengthened, its asymmetry accentuated, and new materials introduced, such as Japanese denim and patinated crocodile skin. Each new evolution only enhances the aura of this legendary Berluti design.

Sac jour

The Jour bag, forging an identity

The Jour line originates in the love story between Olga Berluti and Prof. Guy Chouinard, an eminent Canadian psychiatrist and client of Berluti’s 26 Rue Marbeuf store. It was while watching her future husband pack and unpack his suitcase that Olga came up with the idea for the Trois Nuits, a leather travel bag designed to hold enough for a three-night trip. Soon after, she introduced the Deux Jours, a variant with room for 48 hours'-worth of organized elegance. The Deux Jours is crafted from 142 pieces cut in Venezia leather – the Maison’s signature hide – and then patinated by hand. A fine balance of sturdiness, ease of use, and remarkable elegance, a Jour bag only gets better with age, as its full character reveals itself over the years.

Fast track

The Fast Track, a tailored sneaker

In 2016 Haider Ackermann blazed a new trail with the Fast Track, a sensational hybrid of sportswear and formal shoe. The groundbreaking design placed a brogue upper on a running sole, giving a sleek tailored profile with hidden lacing and traditional shoemaking finishes. Its standout feature is the lightweight, durable running sole, which makes it incredibly comfortable. Patinated in subtle shades like Cacao Intenso or Nero Grigio, the Fast Track always looks distinguished, whether with an Oxford or Derby style upper.

Choose easy elegance
Forestière

The Forestière, the free-wheeling spirit of Paris’s Left Bank

An icon of Parisian tailoring, the Forestière demonstrates how to marry elegance with ease. The original 1940s Arnys design took its name from the jackets with standing collars that French forest rangers used to wear. Berluti reinterpreted the Forestière in 2013, leaning into its hybrid character that owes as much to workwear as it does to the hunting jacket. This more relaxed, fluid version offers a newfound freedom of movement thanks to its generous armholes. Superbly tactile fabrics like cashmere corduroy, linen, or denim-look wool – crafted in an exclusive palette – bring myriad new dimensions to the Forestière’s remarkable elegance.

The Un Jour jacket, a patinated second skin

The mastery of leather that our artisans have cultivated since Berluti’s inception reaches its peak in the Un Jour jacket. Exuding all the chic of its dual Italian and French heritage, this piece is a showcase of unrivalled savoir-faire. The beautiful Venezia leather is patinated to bring out its unique character, in a hue from our vibrant palette that ranges from Natural Blue to Cognac to the intense Black Shade. Meticulous attention went into every detail, from the jacket’s almost sculptural two-way zipper to the sumptuous interior finishes and the breast pocket’s “bombato” detailing. Like an heir to the legendary jackets of yesteryear’s countercultures, Un Jour is destined to become a lifelong companion.
