Because we believe that sustainability stems from understanding, we make sure all our teams are well versed in environmental issues. By offering Climate Fresk and ecodesign training, we’re fostering a culture of shared values around progress and responsibility.

Raising climate awareness across the maison


When it comes to combating climate change, everyone's individual actions count – but we need to understand the issues, to know what to do.


The Maison uses climate awareness as a lever for collective action.

By the end of 2025, nearly every single one of our employees worldwide had taken part in a Climate Fresk, a three-hour collaborative workshop designed around scientific data reported by the IPCC. The workshop uses a set of 42 illustrated cards to condense thousands of pages of climate science into a clear and accessible format, which enables participants to connect the dots between the causes and effects of climate disruption.

Both fun and educational, the experience aims to spur participants to action.

Our partners also took part in the initiative: nearly 30 suppliers across France and Italy – around 80 people in total – have undergone a Climate Fresk, including the Executive Committee of our main logistics partner, Deret. Supplier forums set up dedicated Climate Fresk sessions, which open up a space for our partners to discuss and reflect together on the decarbonization challenges specific to their operations.

Ecodesign is central to our métiers


Berluti took another step towards transforming its savoir-faire in 2024 by making ecodesign integral to its creative process.


All teams whose work plays a role in the product life cycle (Studio, Development, Visual Merchandising, Architecture, Marketing, Purchasing, Quality and Services) underwent training in the principles of circularity and life cycle assessment. These concepts situate project design within a framework of resource efficiency and operating within planetary boundaries.

From this training, an in-house eco-scoring tool was developed that we now integrate right from the product development stage. It’s updated throughout the creative process, so we can calculate the proportion of ecodesigned products in each collection.


This tangible and adaptable system is helping the Maison achieve its goal of 100% of new products being ecodesigned by 2030.
