BERLUTI PRESENTS 'LES PASSE-TEMPS'
In time for the 2023 holiday season, Berluti is launching a new collection of exceptional objects.
“The main rule is that there are no rules except one: like Proust’s salon, no bores are allowed”. Echoing Olga Berluti’s Club Swann philosophy, the collection highlights a selection of timeless, unexpected objects designed to be cherished and shared during celebratory occasions. Original, yet deeply rooted in Berluti’s DNA, these new pieces are an ode to the Maison’s history, artisanal techniques, and know-how.
From patinated Venezia leather to sole leather and bootmaker studs, Berluti’s signature materials come together in this treasure trove, topped off with gleaming, polished brass elements, and sculpted using traditional shoemaking techniques including moulding, stacking and hand stitched finishings. A vibrant jewel-toned palette features Fall / Winter 2023 Mimosa and Opuntia patinas, alongside emblematic Cacao Intenso tones. The result is a refined, yet whimsical bauble assortment hallmarked with a special new signature that integrates Berluti’s original logo, a fleur-de-lys from the original Scritto pattern, and the 1895 stamp.
The precious objects include a champagne bucket with a removable brass interior; a cigar cutter; an ashtray with three different cigar and cigarette sizes; a stackable, playful heel-shaped photo frame; a walnut wood watch box; and a candle with a Venezia leather case complete with a removable Scritto-serigraphied glass interior and a custom cedar, papyrus and palo santo scent.
